Also, please be sure visit the original site by Bill Evans, the original creator of boycott-riaa.com who hails from Roanoke Virginia, and loves music as do I, James Crisp, from Austin, Texas. I'm sick and tired of seeing that whining drummer from Metallica on TV saying "Napster ripped me off." Personally, Metallica is not my taste in music, but what I do care about is the ability to get new artists and music, via Napster and MP3.com that I can't get anywhere else. Does it really cut into the sales of RIAA members because rather than being limited to a choice of 2600 CDs, I now have the choice of thousands of artists and songs. The continued high dollar lawsuits are designed to put Napster and MP3.Com out of business, rather than resolve the real issues. If that happens, we are limited in our choices, and allow the RIAA membership to continue the virtual monopoly they currently have (it's called communism folks!).

I want the choice of music I listen to, not necessarily the choices of a few people in the BIG 5.

This website is the effort of one person (originally Bill Evans and now James Crisp), who is paying the costs of the website. There are no sponsors , no corporate donations from anyone in anyway related to the music industry, or online music providers, or anyone with ties to any company being sued by the RIAA.
