You can help by:

  • Leaving your comments about the RIAA collective to collect your online royalties, especially if you're an artist.

  • Spreading the word, tell everyone you know supporting  your local independent musicians, go see them, buy their CD or tape telling your music store you are not buying RIAA Member music and why.

  • Write to the RIAA and tell them you are not supporting their membership in August

  • Only listening to music you already own, the radio, or online broadcasts.

  • Downloading music sharing software such as Audiogalaxy, Gnutella, or one of the many others available, scare the crap out of them.

  • Write your Congressman and State Senator to let them know that you as a music consumer want to be able to access the music you already own anywhere anytime without additional charges.

  • Supporting the bands, not the RIAA. Send money directly to the artist with Fairtunes.Com
